Montessori Mahila Kalaasala takes its origin in a small school started in 1955.Over the years it has developed in to a multi-educational complex. It had a good academic track record. It is mainly serving poor and lower middle class students. Its consists of Montessori Schools, a junior college, a Degree College, a P.G College, B.Ed College and a Physiotherapy College in the old Campus.
Montessori Mahila Kalaasala Committee has recently started a pharmacy college in the name and style of "Montessori Siva Sivani Institute of Science & Technology - College of Pharmacy" at Mylavaram. It is presently aiming to start an Engineering College at Mylavaram Campus. Montessori Mahila Kalasala has a Research cell, a School of Fine Arts, an Institute of Fashion Technology, a Preprimary Teacher training Course and has all dimensions and features to become a Deemed University. The Degree College is Autonomous and a NAAC accredited Institution.
Montessori Educational Complex has a hoary and glorious history. Situated in the heart of the City of Vijayawada and spread over an area of 7 acres of land, the Educational Complex comprises of Children's Montessori Schools - Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary - imparting instructions in both Telugu and English Media and Montessori Mahila College , a Junior College, a Degree College, a college of physiotherapy and a College of Education, a College of Law and a Post graduate section with M.A.Mass Communication & Journalism, M.A.Sociology, M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Sc.(Information Systems)., M.Sc.(Micro-biology) and M.Sc. (Bio-chemistry) courses .
