Mission
Montessori has a distinctive identity in the state of Andhra Pradesh as an Institution which offers Computer Education to girl students.The department is imparting various skills to the students by providing continuous guidance and identifying focus areas.
Activities & Mile Stones
College is organizing a wide range of co-curricular activities to encourage the students to develop their artistic and physical abilities. I am proud to say that we have succeeded in identifying the talents of students by producing excellent orators, singers, dancers, writers and artists. Our college has organized N.G.C. Awareness programme on 3rd March. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. V.V.Krishna Rao. Mr.V.Lakshamana suri delivered a guest lecture on preparation of teaching aids on 27th August. The students have also celebrated Telugu Bhasha Dinostavam on 29th July.
Teachers Day programme was jointly organized by our college and Lions club of Vijayawada-vision. We honoured some of the great personalities in the field of education Prof.V.V.Krishan Rao,Dr.Smt.V.Koteswaramma garu, Prof.Bala Mohan Das garu,Smt.Vasanta Bala Mohan Das and Prof. K.V.Rao garu, The chief Guest of the day was Sri Chigurupati Vara Prasad garu.

I am delighted to share with you that for the past 24 years our college has been securing 90-100% results our students have also secured gold medals at University level four times and we wish to continue this in the coming year.
B.Ed students have passed in theory examinations with 85% to 97% and they got passed in practical exmination with cent percentage.
Events,Seminars & Workshops
The department conducts extension lecturers and guest lecturers frequently by eminent personalities in the field of Computer Science.The topics covered would be latest in nature not otherwise covered in curriculam,which helps the students to meet the stiff compitition in the field of Computer Science.
To make the students feel responsible towards environment an Eco club has been formed in our college on 6th March 2007.Dr.Smt.V.Koteswaramma garu, Prof.V.V.Krishna Rao garu, Smt.Indira Sampath and Prof. N.Lakshmi graced this occasion . Yoga awareness and training programme was organized in our college on 12th March .
Research in education is also being given great importance in our college. 15 Research students are pursuing their research under my guidance in major thrust areas like creativity, value education, environmental education, I.C.T., attitudes towards school subjects etc.
My paper on Developing Environmental Attitude with special reference to use of plastics received a request from Atlantic publication to reprint the article in encyclopedia of Environmental Education.
Teaches with positive Environmental Attitude can only do justice to Environmental Education an article in university news is being reprinted in the anthology of Environmental Education.
Gyan Books Pvt.Ltd, New Delhi have agreed to publish a book with my articles based on Environmental Education.
