Prof.N.Lakshmi,Head Dept. of Microbiology is guiding three scholars towards M.Phil. degree and Dr.P.Madhavarao,associate professor of Microbiology is guiding two scholars all registered under the Research center of Montessori Mahila Kalasala recognised by Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Dr.P.Madhava Rao,Assoviate Professor Dept. of Microbiology was sanctioned a major project on Jan 1st 2005 by the UGC entitled "Biocontrol of fungal deseases of turmeric (Curcuma Longa L) using fungi,bacteria,neem,garlic and the project is under progress. Dr.P.Madhava Rao published a per entitled "Biological aspects of controlling pathogenic fungi from the turmeric crop at vij" in the proceedings of the National seminar on "Recent advances in Biotechnology" held at sri satya sai Institute of Higher learning.
