Kalasala Degree College is a part of Montessori
EducationalComplex, Which has a hoary and glorious
history. She also thought that the society needs
junior and degree college exclusively for girls
in the same campus. Junior and Degree Colleges
were started in the academic year 1972-73 by Dr.V.Koteswaramma,who
has the distinction of receiving the best teacher
Award twice at the National Level and State Level,as
the founder Principal. Montessori Mahila Kalasala
Committee was constituted and registered under
Societies Registration Act. The DegreeCollege
started functioning with B.A & B.Com courses
to which Bsc(Home Science)courses was added to
a year later. After two years BCA course was added
to the vast courses of Montessori Mahila Kalasala.
We thank the public of Vijayawada for the confidence
they have reposed in our college ever sinceits
inception in 1972.The college is located in the
heart of the city of Vijayawada.As a result the
College has been growing rapidly in numbers From
a meagre strength on rolle in 1972 it has reached
528 in 2002.The strength of our college is. We
have 20 staff members, of which two are Doctrates
and 3 are M.Phil holders |
