under the chairpersonship of Dr. Smt. V.Koteswaramma
Director and Corespondent Montessori Mahila Kalasala. |

| The
IQAC Committee first established in 2003 and still
counting with the infusion of new ideas and new
memebers, so far held meetings five times, the last
meeting being held on 25-03-2008 and passed the
following resolutions. |

| 1.
To fine tune the syllabus to suit the changing needs
of syudents community industry and society. |
| |
| 2.
To impart traning in soft skills with emphasis on
communication and problum solving skills. |
| |
| 3.
To introduce more job-oriented socially relevant
courses. |
| |
| 4.
To inculcate work culture and scientific temperament
in the students so that they can take up project
works. |
| |
| 5.
To initiate M.Pill and Ph.D programmes in the newly
started research center of Microbiology and Biochemistry
departments. |
| |
| 6.
To encourage the faculty to engage themselves in
research activities. |
| |
| 7.
To continue the practice of conducting national
level seminars and organising guest lectures by
eminent academicians in various subjects. |
| |
| 8.
To initiate reserach programmes in Individual departments. |
| |
| 9.
To conduct students - oarents- teacher meeting at
the end of the academic year. |
| |
| 10.
To expose the students to the outside research stations
and industries by organising study tours. |
| |
| 11.
To create a cyber cafe and also to provide internet
facility to UG to PG students to meet the global
competition. |
| |
| 12.
To strengthen the knowledge extension practices
under the programme of "Lab to Land". |
| |
| 13.
To give facility to the qualified staff members
to guide research students of other universities. |
| |
| 14.
To enter into MOUs for each Dept. with reputed Institutions/
Companies / Industries in order to establish interaction
between academicians and industry. |
| |
| 15.
To activate the placement cell by approinting a
placement officer from each Dept. The placement
officer will contact the related companies and seek
campus selections. |
| |
|
We are reviewing our performance from time to time
and we are happy to report that, steps have been
invited to implement all the 15 resolutions made
by the IQAC. |

| Under
the umberella of an Autonomous college the curriculam
has been thoroughly reviewed and modified incorporating
new topics usefull from the view point of competitive
examinations and interviews. Socially relevant and
job oriented new diploma and certificate courses
have been introduced in Music, Dance and Fashion
Technology. |

| The
Professonal courses B-Pharmacy has been started
in the extention campus developed at Gurrajupalem
of Mylavaram Mandal, Krishna Dist. in 2007 under
the aegis of Montessori Siva Sivani Institute of
Science & Technology. |
| |
| The
Palcement Call has been activated by appointing
a Director, the young and dynamic Mr. A.Rajeev Bhargava
and also Prof. P.Venkateswara Rao of MBA Dept. as
placement officer.Different Co-ordinators are appointed
from each Dept. Training classes in the subject,Personality
development and communication skills were conducted
to all the final year students throughout the year.
